Week 14: Minnesota Vikings
December 11th, 2011Are the 2-10 Vikings just what the Lion’s need to get out of there 2 game slump? Yes, but this game will be a lot closer than the experts would predict, only because this a division game and the Vikings are always up to beat the Lion’s and have made quite a career doing it, they lead the overall series by 20+ games.
The good part is the that Minnesota is starting rookie Christian Ponder at QB, their secondary is in shambles, and basically this team just isn’t very good. The bad news is the Lions are playing to keep their playoffs hope alive and the Vikings are playing for pride, which is a dangerous combination especially when your the Detroit Lion’s.
The Lion’s will once again be without the services of Suh, but now it looks like neither Kevin Smith, Nick Fairly or Chris Houston will be suiting up for Sunday. The Lion’s are limping but should be able to right the ship against the Vikings . . . here’s hoping.
