Week 14: Oakland Raiders
Friday, December 16th, 2011Last week the Lions needed an act of God to pull out a win against the hapless Minnesota Vikings a team that at one point they had down 31-14. Thankfully for them a missed face-mask on DeAndre Levy preserved a Lion’s victory and possibly saved a season. The Lions played amazing for the first two quarters two bad there are four quarters to a game as they disappeared in the second half. But is doesn;t matter because the Lion’s won and are now 8-5 going into Oakland.
The Oakland Raiders are well the Oakland Raiders and the Lion’s have a great opportunity to win this game and move one step closer to their first playoff spot in 12 years. This game has a lot riding on it and I think the Lion’s will travel four time zones and pull out victory. The Lion’s have played amazing on the road this year they have a better road record (5-3) than home (4-3) record so I think the Lion’s will be up for the challenge and go into the infamous “Black Hole” and come out victorious.
