The end is in sight.

With the lions nothing is a surprise, and how sad has it gotten when at halftime this past Sunday,  with the Lions down 6-3 few fans saw the Leos pulling this one out. Adjustments were made by the 49ers,  namely they realized they were playing the Lions and the outcome was inevitable.  This was a difficult to watch or listen too. The offense was horrendous any idea who is the backup to Stafford is any body’s guess as Stanton was  terrible.  Maybe we fans should read between the lines and realize that Stanton will be a serviceable quarterback in the NFL, but is not a starter. 4 of the 6 six turnovers were all his, and he deserved to be benched.

The defense played, dare we say it. Decent.  They tackled well, played well against the run, and got pressure on QB Alex Smith.   Sunday the defense did there part they held the 49er offense to 6 first half points, and other than the breakdown on the 4th and inches play, the effort was there it was the Lions O who dropped the ball  figuratively and literally, this  was a winnable game but the Lions proved once again they are incapable of winning those games.  20 road losses is horrible, what is worse however is that the Lions are 4 short from the longest road losing streak held by no other then themselves.
